I'd be cautious because when they do your final review of credits (prior to graduation) they could at that point say the 2nd stats course duplicates. I hope that is not the case but thought you might want to be aware just in case that occurs.
Which school/advising team at Excleisor approved both stats courses > business, liberal arts, nursing, etc. ?

60 hours of my life is now equivalent to 71% in Intro to Stats! The math portion of my BSBA is now done. hilarious
I think this is the best thread I have ever found on this forum! It saved me the hell that is known as online statistics at TESC. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about Precalculus? Don't you have to take that for a BSBA at TESC? I only mention it because that is the one that is keeping me up at night. AAAAHHHH! Just the thought of it makes me break out into a cold sweat. In Minnesota. In the -2 degree temperature. Yes, a cold sweat. Precalculus.....the horror!!!!

Wendy, you are my hero!! I am really torn between trying to teach myself statistics and take the Dantes test or go through the "ALEKS" process. I almost think that ALEKS would be faster for me.
Did you consider testing out of statistics?

My eval was done by whoever has initials rk. Liberal arts. I was expecting the stats to duplicate, so I wouldn't be shocked if they took it back. I would be unhappy though

I did, but then I heard it was such a bear of a test that I re-thought it. Then I decided to take the online class at TESC. I heard that was just horrible and having already been through intermediate algebra and quantitative business analysis (pre-cal) as online classes at TESC, I didn't think I could do that to myself or my family for another 12 weeks in this lifetime. So, I had decided to take the DSST again and then this thread appeared and I bookmarked it until I was ready to get stats out of the way. I got it in writing from TESC that it was approved to satisfy the requirement and I started plugging away.
Honestly, having done ALEKS, I have no idea how anyone actually memorizes those formulas, keeps them all straight and passes that DSST exam. I'd do ALEKS over a DSST or CLEP any day!
