Poll question - pass rate among members - CLEP101 - 10-07-2008 I am technically at 100% but I picked 90%-99%. I did't pass the CLEP English Comp, and I don't count it because that was before I found IC and the IC Forum. After that, I've been golden. ![]() Poll question - pass rate among members - cookderosa - 11-05-2008 I thought for my 1000th post, this would be a great bump! Poll question - pass rate among members - jasminejoy - 11-20-2008 I noticed you got one of your degrees through Thomas Edison- did you do mostly clep tests? That's what I'm planning on doing- do you think it works? Let me know how it went for you. Poll question - pass rate among members - curlytoo62 - 11-20-2008 Today was my second DSST in seven days, passing both exams :o . I found out about DSST and CLEP in a class (ok so I live under a rock). I wish I had known a long time ago. I have one last class in my degree plan and need five electives. Two down and three to go. I plan on finishing electives on 12/8/08. Poll question - pass rate among members - lovetheduns - 11-20-2008 I took two Dantes tests: Intro to World Religions (455--- passing was a 400) Organizational Behavior (64-- passing was a 48) I actually thought the Org Behavior was not that bad. I didn't spend all that much time studying for it-- I did not use the IC cards like I should have and took the test pretty quickly. I prepared quite a bit for the religion (probably a total of 30-32 hours) one based on the feedback from others about the newly revised test. I found the test still very difficult and I am shocked I did "so well" as I really had to use many test taking skills, process of elimination, etc. I took the exam blazing fast in an effort to make sure I really only focused on answering the ones I knew and not second guessing myself. I am now sad I never took the plunge before all of this and took more of these tests. It sure would have been much cheaper and faster. Poll question - pass rate among members - MadMax396 - 04-15-2009 From December to April I have Used IC and it has given me great options within my degree program. Use IC guys. IC worked for me Poll question - pass rate among members - frankiebleyes - 04-16-2009 The statistics are pretty impressive. I just thought that what I was doing was the norm. As I have said before I'm not the brightest bulb on the block, just an average joe. Many here have helped not only myself to succeed on more than one exam just by the suggestions that they have passed along. This is a great site. Poll question - pass rate among members - jennybears3 - 04-16-2009 I have officially passed all of the tests that I have taken BUT although my 46 in the Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union was technically a pass my school will not accept below a 50 so they will not take it. BOOO! I'm hoping to pass Intro to the Modern Middle East tomorrow ![]() Poll question - pass rate among members - codface - 04-16-2009 In the past month I've taken 2 cleps and 2 dssts. None were by any means "easy", but with the help of this forum and IC, I've passed them with room to spare. Not bad for a 48 year old guy with no college experience or credits. I've always dreamed of getting a college degree but was always to busy working trying to make ends meet. With each test I pass, my dream is getting closer to reality. ![]() |
