Correct, 30 RA, minus 3 Capstone and 3 Cornerstone = 24.

If you haven't a.) enrolled in COSC b.) completed all the alternate credit AND c.) had COSC evaluate it and add it to your COSC transcript, you're out of luck. It won't count. You're not grandfathered in. You're stuck with the 90 credits.

Ok I got it now. Thank you.

If COSC is just another bottom rung school, why does it even exist? There are already enough of those.

Still one thing sets COSC is that you can transfer in 114 credits. Sure it might not be a good option for people starting for scratch but could be a good option for people with prior RA credit.

Most schools require not just 30 RA credits but 30 AT THAT SCHOOL. COSC is still only of 3 schools in the US that for a bachelors degree you don't have to do 30 with them.

So the big 3 aren't completely gone.

COSC is still cheaper than TESU and they allow you to double dip. If you have the RA credit it could be a good option for people on this fourm looking to finish thier degree.

Now looking at Excelsior! Anyone know if the ethics course with Sophia would count for Business Ethics?? Also, I found that if you are an employee with Pizza Hut, you can get courses with Excelsior for 50% off. Might help potentially down the road for my daughter.... :-)

I’m sad to learn this, if I read this right you will only be able to transfer 90 alternatives credits.

That officially move cosc out of the big3. With all the restrictions added last 2 years I just feel that getting a degree this way may one day disappear...
