Hi
I spoke to NYC Department of Education if I can pass the A&I Clep I am back to work immediately. Any and all study tips and exam information would be a blessing. I thank each and everyone of you for all your support and help.
The FEMA credits were not good because they were an elective credit. All CLEPS and DSST exams are accepted. Now just to get me prepared and into a testing center and be Blessed with a passing grade. So if any of you can give me help on the best and fastest way to study for this exam, I would be forever grateful.
I am a nervous wreck and need to get some direction so I can get back to work and take care of my kids. I signed up for INSTANTCERT but they have nothing for A&I Exam.

Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP Study Guide - Free-Clep-Prep.com
Spend a few hours going through the links provided in the study guide above and then try the practice exam... assuming you do well, and you will, go take your exam.

Your InstantCert subscription will include access to an additional forum here with guidance for specific exams even ones without official IC flashcards.
Also, you can think of the flashcards as insurance. Hopefully you'll pass A&I. Pass rates seem to be very high, and I'd put your chances as extremely high. Sometimes people don't pass A&I. Worst happens, you'll get back on that horse and go for Foundations of Education or Here's to Your Health or Introduction to Business or something.
But you will make this work. We're cheering you on! Don't get nervous. Channel the energy into getting prepared.
Start reading up on the boards here about the A&I exam specifically. Also see the official resources from the College Board, this guide from free-clep-prep, and optionally this book from REA.

I agree, it's been 4 days in this thread and a few before that. If you're not at work, you could study. Pick A&I as your test and move forward, don't let analysis paralysis set in.

And start making contact with local CLEP test centers as you can find out their availability over the next week. You take a chance if you put this off as you might find there are no open appointments in the near future.

I took A&I and was not required to do any essays.

HI,
I can not seem to navigate my way around this site so I bascially keep coming back here. I have been studying for the Here's to your Health Test. I was wondering about the Peterson's exams Test one I got a 79 on test 2 a 93.. Are these exams any indication that you are ready? I am scared to death to schedule the actual test. I think if I fail It will destroy me right now.

I think I only scored over 70 ONCE on a petersons and I've taken and passed 20+ exams. NEVER, have I ever dreamed of getting in the 90s!! That's awesome! You're ready to go! Go take it with confidence and pass it!

Please do not be scared or nervous. From these objective numbers, I think you're double-plus SUPER ready to take this thing. You should be set for a strong pass. And this means you have room to spare, a good safety margin, if you're a bit off your game.
Right now, you're ready to book Here's to Your Health. I'm pretty sure you're ready to rock it.
Two other things:
• In the subscription InstantCert site, there are links to download MP3 recordings of the flashcard sets for Here's to Your Health. Take advantage of this. Maybe download all sections; maybe just one section or those sections where you could use a confidence booster. Put them on your MP3 player you have one. If not, you can use your computer to play it within a room. See, one good way to attack anxiety about study material is to drown it out with study! With the MP3 flashcards, you can study in spare moments when you can't be in front of your computer or a page.
• Remember, you're in this for the "best 6 semester hours out of…" any source of college credit your employer will accept. There are dozens of CLEP and DSST tests available. If it came to it we could also show you ECEs, TECEPs, some really nonthreatening and convenient online or correspondence courses, etc. Also, "best" here only has to be a pass.
I'm probably terrible at golf. I played mini-golf once or twice as a kid. If for some reason what I had to do to keep my job was to show proficiency in golf by getting one or two, uh, holes in – but I'd have, if I needed it, dozens and dozens of attempts – I would have almost no reason whatsoever to stress out about my first attempt.
