CLEP PDFs published by the CollegeBoard with Scoring Scale (and PT) - ourhandsfull - 10-30-2012

I was able to find all the documents that are still available using Google Quick View. Is anyone willing to email me the other 5: Chemistry, Humanities, Information Systems, Natural Science, & Macroeconomics? I just registered for the forums, but I made sure my account was set up to allow emails from members.

Thanks

Forgive me for taking so long to get back to this. I uploaded most of them, but then forgot to get back to you all on here.

The same 5 that couldn't be seen by some users were the same 5 that I couldn't upload for some reason.

Anyway, access to the PDFs are back! Enjoy!

I missed this the first time until it was too late. I think this is the coolest post since....well, since I don't know when!

Can I also add, that I KNOW this took you some time to do. Yours is another shining example of the altruism on this board that makes it so freakin rockin! :hurray:

Well, it's the age long question of CLEPs and a corresponding scaled score. To think that the CollegeBoard has these out there, is well... unthinkable (almost). Confusedmilelol: To find them was amazing, it's too good not share! My pleasure. Big Grin

I just want you to realize that these were not released by CollegeBoard because these documents were not intended for the testing candidates. These are official documents meant for Test Center Administrators and college officials.

Any way we can get 5 missing score breakouts? Scan those 5 pages in as jpegs or something? Or, just type in the cutoffs for passing, C, B, A?

Interesting. Official documents as in? If they're not supposed to available to the public and infringing some arrangement, I can remove them. Don't feel like getting in trouble. Tongue Anyway, it is interesting because the first 4 pages of these documents are the same (general info about CLEP). Then you have the test description followed by a full length PT. The test description is available on their website, and I'm wondering why a testing center or college official would need a PT. Instead of repeating the first 4 pages of the document in every one, they could of made one document with the same info. Aside from the test description, and pt, the only other info is on the score. I wonder why they wouldn't make it just small document for the testing center administrators and college officials. From the way it's set up and what not, it appears to be very "testing candidate friendly" if you know what I mean.

I'm not doubting you. I know you're a testing center admin, yourself. Just wondering what the deal is. Also as I said, if these really aren't supposed to be released, I'll take 'em down. They're bigger and more powerful and don't need to poke 'em in the eye.

I can probably do something like that. (It may take a bit before I get around to it though... Not as long as last time though. Tongue )

BTW, the missing 5 are Humanities, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Information System and Computer applications.

Publius, I cannot answer your question as to exactly why candidates are not supposed to have access to these documents other than what appears on the password-protected page:
Please do not provide any information from this site to students or potential CLEP candidates.

It is totally up to you what you want to do with this info. The university who initially made this public made an error in judgment and testing policy. I only wanted to explain why this info had not been made available before.
