ALEKS has an * next to those classes. Students - Course Products Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - jayr74 - 01-24-2009 I also just started aleks. Wasnt able to register for College Alg even after I found it on the website course listings. I guess I'll email them and find out jow the process works. Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - annegirl - 01-24-2009 For some reason College Algebra is not on the list for courses. ALEKS had indicated that it was an oversight and that they were going to fix it. I guess they haven't gotten to it yet. I did go through some of the College Algebra with trig. It really wasn't bad at all. I switched to Intermediate Algebra in the end though. Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - JBjunior - 01-25-2009 College Algebra is Pre Calculus WITHOUT Trig, at least it was when I started it a couple of months ago. Once you register for it inside you will see that it has the same ACE code as College Algebra. I'm happy 8.4 hours into intermediate Algebra and done w/70%. I'm lovin this! I'm going to try Regular Algebra for another 3 cr after ACE transfers this one over thier transcript. What a deal, I still have 3 weeks to pass Algebra. Total cost $20.00. Thanks guys!hilarious Once Aleks approves your course with Ace, you can start another module. You do not have to wait until ACE transcripts your course. I did it that way to speed up the process. Just a FYI. Well, would you be able to continue with the other two courses with the percentage that you left off with? I'm considering doing the same thing, basically going back and forth to get the quickest credit. Needing all three courses, I also thought that if I were to complete the same areas in each course at the same time, I could complete them all sooner. I feel like I'm running on a treadmill right now, even though I actually really need to be on one literally. Well anyway, I just wanted to know before I change out of one and can't get back in. It's the overlap that helps you reach the 70% on your second test pretty fast Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - peace123 - 01-26-2009 norema Wrote:Well, would you be able to continue with the other two courses with the percentage that you left off with? Once you switch you lose the percentage you were at and have to start over again. So there is no going back and forth in the manner you expressed. I switched from class to class trying to find the one I felt I could achieve a 70% assessment the fastest. If you want to complete more then one you have get 70 % assessed and get it ace approved before you move onto the next or you will loss your assessment and will have to start over. I read what she wrote but didn't understand what you said, as it is $20 a month no matter how many courses you take, you must have been replying to something specific that he/she asked. Ah, I get what you meant now. You can pay an additional $20 to per course to do additional courses at the same time. |
