Penn Foster makes it sound like you have to wait for shipments and other than the initial one I didn't have to wait. They sent EVERYTHING including the final exam. Isn't the final supposed to be proctored? I'm at the very beginning of the course so I'm still trying to figure this out. If my final isn't proctored will I still be able to get credit from TESC through ACE? I NEED this class and can't afford to take it again. Already failed the DSST Finance... Penn Foster Principles of Finance class - bricabrac - 07-20-2011 Hi perserverance11, The final is no longer proctored (per Ryoder). You just assemble the answers in a word doc and submit online. Same with Intermediate Accounting submit final online. When I took the course, July 2010, it was proctored. It seems they've streamlined the process. Penn Foster Principles of Finance class - brucet3 - 02-01-2013 I just petitioned TESC to add this Principles of Finance to my course file... we will see the answer shortly. The TESC course looks like a monster... the DSST looks like the monsters evil father. So I'm happy I stumbled upon this thread. The course is STILL ACE accredited (it made it through the great purge of October) and it seems to still use the same book as the TESC course. If I get any push back I'll let you guys know. I just wanted to also say that I love the community you guys have established here. Thanks. Again. :coolgleam: Penn Foster Principles of Finance class - mikebaz1 - 02-01-2013 FYI.
