Yes, I just submitted my thesis last week. I'll need to wait for months before getting my results and diploma. The diploma from a real UK university is very great on paper. It opened many doors for me.

I'm in this program now. With the scholarship, out of pocket costs were 12k. I will follow up in time about the experience.

Only 12k? Did you get additional scholarship beyond the 70%?

They initially offered me a 15k price tag. I told them even with the payment plan, the monthly amounts were just too much for me to afford, so UpGrad gave me an additional scholarship on their behalf. 12k for a DBA is pretty good, I'd say. The program starts in October.

It's very good. I ended up chosing the South College DBA starting in Oct because I can hopefully competency it in 18 months for 18k, you have me thinking a bit.

Provided you had decent grades in your previous courses of study, I'm certain you would qualify for reduced tuition. Some scholarships are still left. South College, however, is also an excellent choice, and I commend you for getting in! I wish you the best of luck!

That's a really great price they gave you.  Are you from Canada or another country?  I know they have a different price depending on your country.

So there's no FAFSA needed and it's just a direct discount? Interesting...

I just noticed they have an LLM offered through Golden Gate, which is ABA accredited. I wonder if the ABA knows they are doing that fully online, or maybe it does not matter for LLM. This is interesting, and tempting! I could potentially start into this before getting into a JD program and then finish after. Although, I am not sure if the credits would apply to the JD since most expect enrollment in the JD program before taking outside transferable credits. I am going to keep tabs on this since it's the only program I have seen like this. The LLM is in International Business and Finance Laws, which would be great for me!

EdX has a JD through the University of Dayton, but it's hybrid, and they offer Masters of legal studies in other topics. It does not look like Coursera really offers anything.

There are many LLMs that are 100% online. Upgrad's Golden Gate University programs are not for those who live in the U.S. They will, however, flood you with spam for SSBM's DBA.

Yes, but for this sort of price with an interesting concentration? If you know the answer that's great. Otherwise, that's probably going to be my research project this afternoon...
