I just heard about this place. I’d love to know if this is considered RA and if anyone transferred credits… or completed a program from here. Just seems a little different. Definitely interesting for anyone looking for a Christian program. Lots of free classes available. You pay a small fee if you want a degree program. You gotta start somewhere, right? Thanks for the warm welcome, lol. RE: Christian Leaders Institute… - Jonathan Whatley - 12-27-2024 Welcome, Kerrobie! Please do pull up a chair and stay awhile. We do often experience spammers reviving old threads, so skepticism is understandable. Can you tell us something about the coursework at Christian Leaders Institute, e.g., amount and type of readings and amount and types of assessment per course? RE: Christian Leaders Institute… - bjcheung77 - 12-27-2024 Technically, I resurrected the thread last year in September when they went through a third round of evaluations or reviews, and people have been updating slowly ever since... I didn't want to create another thread just to indicate they were going for a third round and thought it would have been better to have it in one, so when people search, it'll come up with lesser threads to go through... RE: Christian Leaders Institute… - Vle045 - 12-28-2024 I took a few of the free courses they have. After looking around at the other courses, they do have an end date. For example, if the course says you have 180 days to finish, then you have to complete everything in that timeframe otherwise it is considered a “drop” and you would have to start all over if you are going for credit. This wouldn’t be a problem for someone who can accelerate, but could be an issue for someone who is going slower and isn’t good at time management. From what I can tell, you go through the materials and then take a quiz at the end of each week. I don't know if all the classes are like this, i just looked at the syllabus page for a few of the courses. |
