Oh my goodness.  I know your post is a couple years old, but I am struggling with Intro to Ethics on Sophia, too and found your post when searching to see if anyone else was not doing well.
I also did not do well in Philosophy in community college - bombed it.
I have aced all the other Sophia classes I've taken so far and am so confused by this class.  I watch the videos and read the material and all the answers still seem the same.
I'm more than halfway through, so hoping to power through and finish above 70%.
I'm glad I'm not alone in my struggles!

Perfectly stated!  I am struggling through this course now, and experiencing everything you just said.  I am a logical person, so I thought this course was going to be enjoyable, but I was SO wrong.  I can't wait to finish (and hopefully pass) this course.
