They pretty much start every Monday. And, with many courses, you can also choose an 8-week or 16-week option. The other schools are going to have your regular old Semester-based system, with 16-week courses that only start at the beginning of the semester. I personally would pay more to choose my start date and do an accelerated option. Now I see the appeal - rolling start dates and course length options are gold. Especially if you have time on your hands, or if you have a block of time available where you could fit in an accelerated course. Just a personal preference, but 16-week semesters drive me insane. I lose interest halfway through, and have been known to drop courses MANY times over the years with a regular semester. I have never dropped a course that was shorter (TESU's 12-week capstone, 8-week accelerated courses, 5-week + weekend intensive courses, etc.). RE: TESU BALS Degree Plan Help - Airframer - 07-05-2018 Roger that - I will look into this as I get closer to the lab requirements! I also noticed that TESU Physics II lab begins every month, but is only 6 weeks in length. Anyone have experience with it? ALEKS College Algebra complete. Awaiting ACE credit, then moving on to Trig.... RE: TESU BALS Degree Plan Help - Airframer - 07-06-2018 On another note, I received my official BS Tech Studies evaluation this morning. Looks like not much, if anything, changed. Still need that cornerstone waiver - plan to call advising today and also ask about the labs. Program Summary: (In Progress) !! If you can complete those Natural World 8 SH (General Chemistry with Lab and/or General Physics with Lab - DEGREE REQUIRMENT) by late October and start the Capstone - APS-401 Current Trends and Applications in August (sign up is available now for next month, last start date for 2018 graduation is August https://www.tesu.edu/current-students/graduation-information) - I really think you could make it in time for Dec 2018 Graduation. You did say you wanted speed over cost! You're so close now, especially since I know you've already earned some of those missing credits - I'd guess no later than Spring 2019. Of course much depends on those sciences and capstone completion - the rest of your missing credits are pretty simple to get, as there are many options. |
