I wouldn't think so. Being on a TESU transcript should be enough. In fact, you can't even tell by my transcript which credits are and are not part of the degree. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - Yenisei - 06-04-2018 I'm surprised that you need so many courses since you already passed the CPA exams, but since you are going to take courses with TESU, I think you'll be fine since MA does not absolutely require a BS in Accounting. Since you're going to take two courses with TESU, maybe it makes more sense to just take CLEP exams and CSU Global exams, which only cost $250 apiece. davewill- according to what I cited a few posts back, scarlett would also have to provide a transcript from study.com. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - scarlett5477 - 06-04-2018 Yeh I learned all by myself for those CPA exams. I sit for Maine which only require very few accounting credits for taking the exams. These are what I have been told: --If you take courses that are transferred into a four year school and they are listed and earned credit on the US regionally/nationally accredited school transcript then they should be acceptable. --Thanks a lot for replying to me! Do I need to get a four-year degree to make the transferred credits into TESU work? It is a four year regionally accredited university. --Just the official transcript is fine you do not have to earn a degree from that school. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - Yenisei - 06-04-2018 Sounds like the credit bank will work then. Good deal. Not by my reading. I wouldn't consider Study.com an "institution". I'd only supply both if asked. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - scarlett5477 - 06-05-2018 Thanks for all your kind help! I am on my way to those credits now. Sorry to bother you guys again. Neither Study.com nor TESU offer this accounting course--"Auditing" . TESU has it for $525/credit. Does anyone happen to know some cheap auditing online courses? or any cheap online course program should work. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - Yenisei - 06-05-2018 I think the least expensive would be the CSU Global challenge exam ($250). Alternatively, the University of North Alabama has one for (I think) $535 that is actually a CPA review course. Either will be very easy for someone who has already passed AUD. RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - scarlett5477 - 06-05-2018 Thank you Yenisei! The CSU CBE is an exam not a course. I need to check with NASBA to see if it qualifies. These are the least expensive ones? God, $535 are still quite expensive compared to Study.com ![]() RE: Regionally accredited college accepting online credit transfer - davewill - 06-05-2018 Definitely check. I would think that putting it on your TESU transcript would work if they didn't want to take it directly from CSU. These would also be on a RA transcript, so you don't have to pay the money to send it to TESU. |
