HOLY COW!!!!!! Very very very impressive!!!!! It takes serious dedication and an amazing memory to pull off what you did.. I don't think I would be able to do that! Great work Smile

First off, you're amazing!

Secondly, how long did it take you to study for all those? I thought I would be slightly overworked by doing 1 exam a week but if I can push myself harder (realistically) then I will.

To answer some of your questions.

Each exam took me on average about 50 minutes.
The testing center I was at SDSU (San Diego State University) just let me take one after another from 8am to around 2:30-thank God it was a ghost-town in there because I didn't have to wait in line to get checked into my next test.
Day one 6 tests, day two 7 tests, day three 8 tests (on day three they're open later), day four 1 test
I postponed the final three tests till my last week in town because my fiance had to go back to china a week earlier than me and I wanted to do a little last-minute cramming on them. The last week I took College Composition CLEP and the Advertising TECEP. I believe I passed both of them but won't find out for a few weeks.

The testing center administrators were totally blown away. They told me they'd never seen anyone pass more than two in a single day. They'll be talking about me for years over there as "the guy that passed 22 exams in less than a week".

It's not hard keeping all that info in your head as long as you put it in gradually and review it frequently. I cut and pasted all the instantcert flashcards for each of those subjects and pasted them all into a word document, shrinked it down to size ten font and printed them all out. Each subject was about 18 pages. Then I'd highlight the pertinent facts and review once a month at least. I was most stressed about the College composition and highly recommend buying the official clep guide so that you know exactly what type of essay they're looking for and for examples of citation. The exam specific feedback for the college composition test is mostly outdated as they changed the test from one essay to two among other things.

Most of these exams are NOT HARD AT ALL. I only used the full time allotment for College composition and Analysing and interpreting Literature. I feel as though if you spend your time online flipping through instantcert flashcards you're taking too long to review the information. If it's a subject you really need to pass then cut and paste the instantcert flashcards into a word or excel document. Note that many times the explanation is the more valuable information and you can copy that instead.

One final thought..... If I didn't have to wait 6 months to take these exams (because that was when my vacation started) I would have been able to only study about 3 months to pass them all. After the first three months of studying I just did reviews to keep the information on the top of my mind. Most CLEP and DSST exams only require superficial knowledge.

If you're curious I'm attaching the spreadsheet with my degree plan including expenses and my timecard for studying.

Agree. I only had to study for around 5 exams in total out of the 23 I took. Even Money and Banking, that so-called monster of a test was a bit of a joke.

Well I just got the final results from my sister back home in America for the TESC and CLEP so I actually passed 24 exams total in the month of September. The last two exams I took at the end of the month because my fiance had to fly back to China a week before me and I needed to spend a few hours cramming for both of them. Those exams were the College Composition CLEP and the Advertising TECEP.
