I think that is a typo and he meant "EVAL" -- which is short for evaluation. After you apply to the school of your choice they give you an evaluation of your credits so you can see where you stand. I had a double take when I read "veal" too

I went to a testing center for all my DSST and CLEP exams. Even though there is one 5 minutes away, I drove an hour to one that didn't require reservations. My schedule is so crazy that it is hard to plan ahead when I would be both prepared and available to take an exam(s).

kiyanalynn- CLEP and DSST exams must be taken at an approved testing center. Lots of colleges have one.
