If you go back in this thread, you'll see a list of all the ACE approved classes- I think the stats is called Intro Stats. The material is probably very very very much the same. If you already started AP stats, just switch. You'll do a new assessment. It won't cost anything extra. I tried to switch back from Precalculus and couldn't find the other course. If I can't switch back to Algebra, at least I can take comfort knowing that ALEKS thinks I only need about 40 hours now in PreCalc Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - Professor_Adam - 11-15-2008 I was interested in using ALEKS to study for Calculus. However there are other subject areas I'd like to study on there too. My question is when you subscribe are you only paying for one course at a time? Or, for the monthly fee do you get to take several at once or bounce between different subjects. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks. I tried this in a new thread with no response so I thought I'd ask it here. What i am wondering is if i am not enrolled in a school right now and want to still get this 3 unit course transcripted, what is my next step in having it accredited on a transcript and how long will that be good until. I dont plan on enrolling in TESC until January. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Do i just print out my course completion page from aleks and give that to TESC in January when i enroll? thank you Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - JBjunior - 11-16-2008 If you go back to about page 19 there is a post there that tells you exactly how to do it and the links to do it. Basically set up an account with Ace. Then file for a "review" of credit for that particular class. ALEKS will mail ace the paperwork saying that you are above 70% and then ace will transcript it for you. When you enroll at a college, have ace send it to that college. In other news, I finished Intermediate Algebra and just did the request through ACE last night and now I am waiting for Monday for ALEKS to send the information. My question is, since I want to move on to pre-calculus if I change to that now through my Master Account, will I lose anything with the Intermediate Algebra? No big deal, I can wait one more day. I have a couple of essays to write anyway, I don't need to get caught up in pre-calculus. I will post an answer as soon as I find out. Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics - reshab912 - 11-16-2008 I am done with pre-calculus!!! 72%. it took me 26 days. Aleks report says 51hours 34mins. Not a easy course man. But I managed to do it. now I am gonna apply with ACE and Aleks for completion. I have a list of formula's that i have written for myself to aid while giving test's. If anyone needs it let me know. I can scan it and email it. |
