Go figure... The wonders of internet toughguy syndrome at work. I've been around 2 years before you even dreamed of getting a degree or joining. I also subscribe to Instacert. I don't agree with everyone, but I don't cause any trouble. I don't agree with everyone, but I don't cause any trouble. Well, technically, I started on the degree path about 20 years ago... But congrats for finding this resource well ahead of me. You don't have to agree with anyone, but if you're going to comment, you can at least be contructive about it. Shrug... Have a great one! -T Remember: every question counts - daniellevine - 03-02-2010 Tasman and TMW are right... you're post was rude, Calico. I looked at your history and saw snide comments like "Another guy trying to brag...", etc. Frankly I don't care what you think about my posts. There are always going to be people who like what you have to say, people who don't like what you have to say, and people that don't like what anyone has to say. Remember: every question counts - Tasman - 03-02-2010 You said it Daniellevine. :iagree: They might have been around for 2 years but they haven't made a comment in 2 years either. Yes I read the history as well... There's always one... Remember: every question counts - taylor - 03-02-2010 LOL!!! Man, I better double check my history, this is some serious background investigation:ack: . Guys, pay no mind to negativity, go home, kiss your wife and watch some Oxygen channel:hurray: . Your posts are great! Remember: every question counts - jadechow - 03-02-2010 taylor Wrote:LOL!!! Man, I better double check my history, this is some serious background investigation:ack: . Spike maybe? hilarious But, I totally agree with you Taylor! What's the point of the negative comments anyway? There's no need for it - especially not on a board like this one. Remember: every question counts - mlwilliamsiv - 03-02-2010 I totally agree with you all! It's funny because I saw Calico's post and didn't respond because I think people that act in this matter are just looking for some attention (whether positive or negative). So I wasn't even going to dignify that with a response. But as soon as I read the comment...I shook my head and said to myself, "Somebody's gonna catch some Hell!!!" However, I did want to make some comments. First...I'm already getting sick and tired of the spammers who frequent this site already. Take that crap somewhere else. Second, I love this forum and it has been a huge blessing to not only me but countless others. I understand that as humans...we are not going to see eye-to-eye on everything, but we can still learn to respect others. That is the biggest roadblock to our future progess IMO. Daniel posted a comment for the benefit of others, and if someone didn't/doesn't like his post then that is your right as an American citizen. However, what I don't understand is the need for people to make snide comments that are totally uncalled for. Instead of making the comment that Calico made...why couldn't you congratulate him on the exam he passed??? We are suppose to be here to support and encourage each other...not bring each other down. And just for the record...I will defend and support all of my brothers and sisters on this forum to the death. I will not tolerate disrespect by anyone. Because I believe in "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW." Good luck to you all in your future endeavors. Peace be with you always. Remember: every question counts - marianne202 - 03-02-2010 :hurray: Congrats on finishing. As someone who has taken several ECE's as well as DSST and CLEPS, I can tell you that ECE's are much harder than the others. I always end up with the 50/50 situation on their exams. They also do more scenario based questions, so you really have to know the info. I have never finished an ECE in less than 2 hours because they just require more thinking. I usually have more questions marked for review and change more answers, which I really try not to do, as that is proven to be a bad thing to do. I too try to always do my best, but ECE's are a different animal than the DSST's or CLEP exams. I have never used the recommended textbook, because the two times I tried, they were so boring and incoherant. I just use books recommended by others who have taken the exam and passed. Congrats again and realize that while the grading curve may be different the letter grade is what counts for the GPA! |
