Analyzing and Interpreting Literature - frankiebleyes - 04-16-2009 The suggestion regarding literary terms is right on. If you have an old english grammer book, check out the poetry section for terminology that was also helpful. This was one of the exams that I enjoyed taking. Best of luck. Analyzing and Interpreting Literature - Therica23 - 04-16-2009 Hi there, I took the clep about 3 years ago without really studying. I think I looked over the book like one or two days. I scored a 66 and I believe I had to fill in the last 10 without reading them. I think if you understand poems and how to interpret the meaning you will do fine with that portion. The other suggestion is to make sure you know the terms and styles. Recently I was required to take the essay portion and I didnt do well. It was no info on what to expect with it, and I didn't know there were two essays! Has anyone passed the essay portion? What do you guys think?
