We'll see, I have mine in right now. I have a bunch of other credits there to evaluate also so I will call and have them do an update next week. I will be upset if it doesn't go through, not sure what I will do though. Being in the military I have plenty of options without paying incredible fees.

Please let us know if TE accepts the credits or not. I hope that they do.

no uncertain terms? sounds like that advisor had a big issue with straighterline.

You know, in all honesty it is written policy who they will accept credits from. I think if they have a problem with what other RA colleges are doing, they will have to change their policy. They can't just pick and choose.

Sowak777 Wrote:My College Algebra credits will be coming from FHSU, a RA school. If they will not take them, I will go to COSC instead. I have heard nothing but bad things about TESC, so I am not sold on going there.

Last that I heard, COSC took College Algebra but had not yet decided whether it would meet the general education requirement for Math. If you find out more, please let us know.

Does anyone know if you will need to send over your transcripts to FHSU to finish your application, or will someone be able to apply, take and pass straightercourse class, send transcripts from straightercourse to FHSU, then send FHSU transcripts to Excelsior?

Doesn't TESC have to accept the credits if they are from an RA school and fit into your plan? I never told TESC that the college algebra was from Straighterline, I just said it was from FHSU. They receoved the transcript on 1/5 so I will post if and when it is applied.

I just got my straighterline college algebra transcripted a couple weeks ago, they take it from FHSU.

On my transcript it is listed as MAT-121 and for my BSBA it went under NAT.SCI and Math.

And the process is, take straighterline course, get transcripted at FHSU (takes a few days), have FHSU transcript sent to TESC or EC or CO.

I am not sure what EC or CO list it as.

Charter Oak is a Straighterline school, so you don't need the middle man for them. Just list them as you institution with SL.
