Yes!!!! I am currently taking 2 courses and it is so exciting to know this university is now RA. Can't wait to see UMPI and other schools accept credits and see what their equivalencies. The wiki is going to soon get a lot of changes. I hope they make a new UoPeople Wiki and make a degree overview of the different degrees.

From my experience, the Health AS only accepts 50% transfers and they treat any elective within this limit so that people on the forum should anticipate prioritizing the Gen Ed transfers.

I have a hunch the forum will need anew subforum for this University because it is going to get flooded with tons of new posts asking about degree plans. There's tons of info about degree plans for the Computer Science and Business degrees, but info for the Health and Masters degrees are more scant and harder to find.

You can find some information on courses and the degrees on reddit on the University of the People thread.

Yes, and I did submit an application to teach undergrad education there too. This should be an interesting experience.

University of the People Gains Regional Accreditation - collegecareerstudent - 02-27-2025

Hi everyone, just thought you'd be interested to know that three hours ago on LinkedIn, University of the People's official page announced the school has gained WASC accreditation. According to online sources, "WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation is a respected form of accreditation in the United States, particularly for institutions in the Western region. It is one of the six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the US Department of Education."  Interested to know what everyone thinks about this!
