Adding to what davewill said, keep in mind that only 6 of the 24 RA credits required at TESU must be taken at TESU. For the other 18, there are many options for getting RA credits at a cheaper price: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sources_of_Credit#Examples_of_Colleges_Offering_Distance_Learning_Courses

Makes sense. Thank you so much everyone! I feel like I have a much clearer idea of my path forward now.

Just a note that for TESU: 6 credits is the minimum at TESU (non-military) for a single degree.

You need a total of 30 RA credits (TECEP exams count for RA purposes, but not for the purposes of avoiding the residency waiver fee for non-military), with the exception of active military for whom 24 RA credits are required (TECEPs count towards RA).

Thanks for the correction!

Further to what was mentioned, you may want to consider pre-planning your future endeavor after the Bachelors. For example, if you go the UMPI BA Psych program, you can ladder that to the Walden MS Psych program right after and join the PHI CHI Society. You also may want to be specific with your end goal by telling us what Masters you're initially interested in, the main reason is, you want to make sure you've got all the required prerequisites completed in undergrad and not waste extra energy, money, time on bridging classes...

So sorry for the delayed response! I didn't realize you had replied again until just now!

To answer your question, my intention is to get a masters in psychology once I finish my BA Psych degree at UMPI. I've been working off of the degree plan in the Wiki, but if there's anything else I could do ensure I've got all the required prerequisites as you mention, I'd definitely like to do that!

Thanks again!

Yeah, do your BA Psych at UMPI instead of Excelsior, they're the recommended option as you can get that for $3400 ($1700/session) instead of what Excelsior or TESU would charge you for 2 or 3 classes. You can then ladder that up to a cheap CBE MS Psych at Walden or something like what I mentioned earlier... Walden should be roughly $6K for the MS Psych if you can finish in 6 months or two sessions...

Sounds good. Thank you for the help!
