In addition to the block transfer option to max the 60 credits, some institutions require an AAS (Applied Science) to get into their BAS (Applied Science) degree, without it - you won't be able to get in... So for example, someone with the Pierpont BOG AAS with an emphasis of their choice, can get into the UMPI BAS with a minor of their choice.  If you don't get the Pierpont BOG AAS, you can always get the UMPI AALS (Liberal Studies) and then ladder that to the UMPI BLS (Liberal Studies).

Thank you for this! So, someone with the Pierpont BOG AAS with an emphasis of their choice, can get into the UMPI BAS with a minor of their choice meaning, AOE Business would be accepted to get the UMPI BAS?

Pierpont BOG AAS with a Business emphasis will allow your access to the UMPI BAS, you need to indicate to them, you have the technical credits. They will verify and then change your program from the BLS to BAS once done with the application and credit transfers.

Basically... It's relatively cheap, easy, fast to get the 40+ technical credits for UMPI BAS, most of them will be thrown into the electives area anyway. The best way to get this is to follow the WIKI and get those credits from Coursera, Sophia.org, and TEEX: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UMPI_Bachelor_of_Applied_Science,_BAS_Degree_Plan
