RE: LLB degree for Australia - HogwartsSchool - 04-22-2024 What about doing a Qualifi Level 4 and 5 Diploma in Law, then LLB top-up? Are there downsides to using Qualifi before the LLB or other degree top-up? RE: LLB degree for Australia - bjcheung77 - 04-22-2024 Yeah, that would work better actually, I was thinking the OP wanted to go and get a Grad Diploma first and ladder to the degree after. Here's an option: https://www.coventry.ac.uk/course-structure/ug/top-up/law-international-legal-study-llb-hons-top-up/ RE: LLB degree for Australia - Leedeedee - 04-22-2024 What about the University of London International Programme Graduate Entry LLB via independent study? If you're very self motivated, you can pass this in 2 years, though they'll allow you to take up to 6 years. It's a respected programme but it is tough, especially without classroom tuition. Total cost approx £5200 https://www.london.ac.uk/study/courses/undergraduate/llb-bachelor-laws RE: LLB degree for Australia - HogwartsSchool - 04-22-2024 (04-22-2024, 03:45 PM)Leedeedee Wrote: What about the University of London International Programme Graduate Entry LLB via independent study? From what I have read about the program, the cost will be a lot higher due to buying many books and needing access to various publishers like Bloomberg, etc. RE: LLB degree for Australia - Leedeedee - 04-22-2024 (04-22-2024, 04:27 PM)HogwartsSchool Wrote: From what I have read about the program, the cost will be a lot higher due to buying many books and needing access to various publishers like Bloomberg, etc. That could be true. It's such a shame that this course was offered for free for 154 years, until they finally started charging in 2014. Still a good price, but obviously there are extras for study materials required. I don't know how much access like that costs. RE: LLB degree for Australia - Atoshi - 04-23-2024 Thank you, everyone. I will keep all the suggested recommendations in mind. I am still researching if a UK law degree would be valid for Australia and how many extra credits I would have to do.
