Would love to have these courses to brush up my math knowledge. I checked their schedule for the two semesters in 2024. Sadly, both semester does not offer any online math courses anymore. All of the math courses are blended learning at least: - Fall 2024 (August 12 – December 13, 2024) - Summer 2024 – 2nd 5 weeks (July 1 – August 2, 2024) https://www.dinecollege.edu/admissions/course-schedule/ A side note: I can't access Dine College website directly. I have to use a VPN with US IP to access it. RE: Tired of being bad at math and looking to enroll in online math classes for credit - OtterDen - 06-18-2024 There is another thread talking about math courses offered by FSU. Seems to suit your need pretty much - online, affordable, regional accreditation (RA) credit. Here is the link to the other post: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Reasonably-priced-upper-division-RA-math-courses RE: Tired of being bad at math and looking to enroll in online math classes for credit - evergreen - 06-20-2024 There's also West Texas A&M which offers self-paced courses (https://www.wtamu.edu/academics/extended-studies/education-on-demand/self-paced-courses/index.html). It has Calc 1,2,3 & Diff Equations. $699 per course and you can start anytime. Their proctor requirements are unreasonably inflexible. Math exams must be taken in-person at an official college or univeristy testing center near the student. Students should contact the EoD office for approval of their preferred testing center. While requiring proctored exams is expected--it's the norm for math courses online--to require that they be taken at a college testing center is not. No virtual proctoring, not even local library proctoring. Unless they're more flexible than they indicate on their site, that takes WTAMU out of the running for me, sadly. My local college's testing center only provides proctoring services for one hour a couple of days during the workweek; both in the mid-morning. Too bad, because while they're not as cheap as Fayetteville State (for matriculated students), they are self-paced, which could justify the little extra cost. |
