RE: International tentative TESU degree plan help - bjcheung77 - 10-28-2023 @F00X, as I mentioned, just only do the Medical Term TECEP and nothing else for $52 and you'll be enrolled, you'll have access to an academic advisor. Just be warned, you do not want to contact an advisor as they always want you to take courses from them, plus sometimes they make 'accidental' mistakes and you'll get confused more. You should only get in contact with an advisor after you've come to the board and have been informed to do so by a senior member or moderator (always, as there are some things that require intervention that mods can't do for you). In regards to Metropolia, see my post a few minutes ago: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Metropolia-University-Common-Problems-Resolved?pid=406798#pid406798 RE: International tentative TESU degree plan help - F00X - 10-29-2023 (10-28-2023, 10:48 PM)bjcheung77 Wrote: @F00X, as I mentioned, just only do the Medical Term TECEP and nothing else for $52 and you'll be enrolled, you'll have access to an academic advisor. Thank you very much. I misunderstood the purpose of enrolling. The academic evaluation seems to be the main purpose of enrolling, so I have a clear idea of which courses are already covered and which I still need to do. I was honestly also worried that the advisor would be motivated by the school's finances and advise me to take a more expensive route. Plus, enrolling would also lock in my course catalog, correct? So they cannot change the requirements for the completion of my bachelor anymore? As far as I understand. I'm currently working on having the rest of my credentials and transcripts translated and will move forward to having them evaluated by ucredo (AICE), as research suggested they are pretty good to work with. And apparently they don't need you to send it by physical mail. I will update on how that goes and document my findings here for anyone in the future that has to go through the same process. RE: International tentative TESU degree plan help - bjcheung77 - 10-29-2023 Q: Plus, enrolling would also lock in my course catalog, correct? No, for other things as well such as fees, your catalog year would remain the same for any degree changes. Yes, go ahead with the ucredo (AICE) evaluation, it's best to see what comes in and then you'll know what is remaining to take. Update us the best you can... |
