I do not have an extensive background in math or computer science. As an undergrad, I did not take courses like linear algebra or probability theory. My first doctoral dissertation was a mixed study (quantitative and qualitative) that focused in bayesian statistics models and utilized statistical software like R, Python, SPSS, JASP and NVivo. I had no basic math course. If you are interested in a less technical, more application focused course on AI from a "brand name" university, come join me at Oxford next year: https://www.sbs.ox.ac.uk/programmes/executive-diplomas/oxford-executive-diploma-ai-business. It will certainly be demanding in other ways! RE: Recommendations Needed for an online Artificial Intelligence certification or degree - bjcheung77 - 12-01-2023 Ouch! Looks interesting though...
