This is exactly what I was thinking. This policy has nothing to do with completion rates and everything to do with being a money grab for Excelsior. It just shocks me that schools have a good thing that works (COSC is my favorite example) and then go and intentionally ruin it. RE: New Change to Enrollment at Excelsior U. -- Not Good - frankc - 10-20-2023 It's disappointing to see the shift in Excelsior University's recent approach, making it challenging for students to graduate. From my personal experience, when I compared Excelsior University and TESU, I found EU to be superior in almost every aspect during my time there. It was more affordable as there wasn't a residence waiver fee, the course duration was shorter (8 weeks compared to 12 weeks at TESU), and the support was better. I particularly appreciated the helpfulness of every EU advisor who assisted me in obtaining recommendation letters from professors. It was the opposite of my experience at TESU, where I struggled to get any responses from professors when I reached out for recommendation letters. I really don't want it to turn in to another COSC... |
