Sometimes, a hatred of a thing can blind us to the exceedingly easy and obvious solution that's right in front of our faces. I've had it happen.
Pretty sure you don't have to "click on a dozen buttons all over the place". Take a deep breath and start at the very beginning. Don't just click things randomly. If you're not clicking randomly, we can't help you at all if you're not describing exactly what you're doing.
Right now, you're doing the equivalent of complaining that your brand new car mysteriously won't start, but we don't even know if you have the right keys in the ignition. Or if the gas tank is empty. Or a dozen other things. "It won't drive! I pressed everything and now the emergency blinkers are flashing!" isn't the most useful diagnostic.

For now I could access my pierpont email. Apparently everyone except me knew the button for Microsoft 365 is where the Pierpont email is hiding. Either this was never covered in the orientation course because everyone assumes everyone will immediately know where to look or I never noticed it.
I just really hope it doesn't lock me out of the account out of nowhere.

Hmm, I didn't even look at the orientation course, I like to click onto every single icon to see where it points to and what features there are... I was in the Outlook 365 when I did the screenshot on IMGUR earlier... I didn't know you weren't even in the Outlook webpage, and was stuck within the Portal looking for Outlook. The way you mentioned it, sounded like you sent email already and waiting for the email to come through within outlook...
