Most people are not able to get down to exactly 10 courses. How close are you? When I first made this thread I was at 75 credits. I am now at 81 credits. I completed human bio and business law with sophia. I need 3 more courses for the 90 credits. Spanish , a lab course, and the google certs are pending. I am working as fast as possible I only have 3 UL credits because supposedly SL and Sophia doesn't count as UL. According to my research , I need more UL courses for admission into UMPI. Hopefully I am understanding it wrong For the BLS-Management degree, I think I am set to apply with 90 credits after I complete the 3 pending courses. For the BABA Project Management I think I will need way more business and Pm classes according to the wiki. About 5-6 more courses ! I don't mind taking more courses. It's just a matter of getting adjusted to study.com and getting the classes completed before the application deadline in about 3 weeks. I am ok with doing more than 10 courses at UMPI if needed. I am looking for the easiest cheapest route RE: UMPI & Pierpont - ss20ts - 09-13-2022 (09-13-2022, 04:36 PM)Jackiessuccess Wrote:(09-13-2022, 03:57 PM)rachel83az Wrote: You must do at least 10 courses at UMPI, with most of your UL credits completed there as well. They will only accept 90 credits out of the 120 required for the degree. The Google certs are each more than 1 course so you will be losing credits. You may be better off completing a UL on Study since you still need a lab science. If you completed Business Law on Sophia, it transfers as UL to UMPI. Study also offers numerous courses which transfer to UMPI as UL. They're listed on Study's UMPI page. You will need to complete a minimum of 10 classes at UMPI not 10 credits. I am signing up for study.com right now as we speak. I'm getting started on my lab requirement . Thanks again RE: UMPI & Pierpont - bjcheung77 - 09-14-2022 You have plenty of time left to start as the session doesn't begin until later, I would try getting the Spanish I done first, then work on the Biology w/lab at Study.com and once done, work on the UMPI courses needed. Application deadline is October 4, session starts on the 24th. You should get most if not all transfers done by then... I am going to get as much done as possible If I decided to go with the BABA-Project Management Degree, Is this degree plan ok? I would rather take the easiest stress free route. However, I am a very fast diligent worker with everything I do. I don't mind putting in the work but I have so much going on I would just prefer the easiest route right now *General Education Curriculum Requirements 1A - Taken, English Comp I 1B - Not taken, complete at UMPI 1C - Not taken, possibly complete with Sophia Communication at Work 1D - Taken - English Comp I 2A - Taken - Intro to Ethics 2B - Taken - Intro to Philosophy 2C - Not taken, complete at UMPI 2D - Not taken, complete at UMPI 2E - Taken - Art History I 3A - Taken - Algebra 3B - Taken - Stats 3C - Taken - Microbiology 3D - Taken - Environmental Science 3E - Not taken, complete Biology 101L @ Study.com 4A - YourPace introduction, 0 credits; not completed yet 4B - Not taken, complete at UMPI 4C - Taken - Intro to Ethics 5A - Not taken, Intro to Sociology @ Sophia 5B - Taken - US History I 5C - Foreign Language.
