RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - bjcheung77 - 09-02-2022 Hmm, SNHU takes NCCRS credits too... That's interesting, I always thought they did only ACE... RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - LevelUP - 09-02-2022 It's too bad they didn't review all the Study.com courses though you can ask an SNHU adviser if a course will work. They allow you to bring in alt credit courses after you enroll and start taking courses with SNHU. Which NCCRS credits do you see? I'm guessing they take SDC's Presentation Skills course because they have an agreement with SDC that overwrites the ACE/NCCRS thing like Sophia; and they take OnlineDegree because they have an agreement with them (so does UMGC and CSU-Global). But I don't think they take NCCRS in general, or else we'd see some Davar and Coopersmith in there. RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - bjcheung77 - 09-02-2022 I still don't think they'll accept ALL ACE/NCCRS options, I think it's more of an agreement or articulation thing with a few providers... In addition to Coopersmith and Davar having one course each that's approved so far, they have a whole slew of Onlinedegree.com and Torah courses that have credit if transferred. I just reviewed the link on post #8 again, https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-SNHU-BOOOOM?pid=376435#pid376435 RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - LevelUP - 09-02-2022 (09-02-2022, 04:30 PM)bjcheung77 Wrote: I still don't think they'll accept ALL ACE/NCCRS options, I think it's more of an agreement or articulation thing with a few providers... I just reviewed the link on post #8 again, https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-SNHU-BOOOOM?pid=376435#pid376435 What you are seeing isn't a complete list. It may be what some have brought in before. That one Coopersmith may not sound like much, but that's a key course for the computer science degree. I know some courses they took before from Study.com that aren't on that list. That's interesting, I always thought they did only ACE... Weird - I didn't see them and I was looking for them - I must have lost my mind for a minute. Looks like they've only taken Linear Algebra from Coopersmith, and 1 UL Finance course from Davar - so the possibilities are there. I wonder if anyone here has a bunch of Coopersmith courses and would apply just to see what they bring them in as - IF they do. Is it free to apply? RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - jsd - 09-02-2022 didn't we already know SNHU takes some ACE? so this is just a big hullabaloo about SDC finally being transferred in? Sophia all over again ![]() RE: SNHU BOOOOM!!! - dfrecore - 09-04-2022 (09-02-2022, 06:44 PM)jsd Wrote: didn't we already know SNHU takes some ACE? so this is just a big hullabaloo about SDC finally being transferred in? They take a ton of ACE - it's the NCCRS that we did not know about. And the fact that they are posting how credits are coming in, specifically, rather than just having to guess or go by word-of-mouth. SNHU & CLEP credit - scotpiper - 09-11-2022 Is it true that SNHU only awards credit for 5 CLEP exams?? |
