RE: advice for completing General Education credits for son in High School - bjcheung77 - 09-02-2022 @EducationSeeker, It depends on what your child wants to do. If he would like to go for a Bachelors in Business, he can decide from the list of schools we recommend. The same goes for Cybersecurity, we need to know his study habits, if he's more in tune with alternative credit such as ACE/NCCRS or if he's into competency based assessments and assignments. If he's going into Business or Cybersecurity and is fine with CBE, WGU is great for Business or IT... Get as many credits as possible completed and transferable to the degree and work on the final term at WGU to finish the degree. If he's not into CBE, then he can try maxing out the credits and go for Excelsior or TESU, both of these accept NCCRS credits as well. RE: advice for completing General Education credits for son in High School - Pikachu - 09-02-2022 ASU's UL and Outlier.org are options you can explore as well. These are all RA courses. For Outlier, the transcript is issued by University of Pittsburg. ASU UL's requirements are negligible (must have valid ID) with no minimum age stated: https://ea.asu.edu/about/faq/#requirements-faq-3 The only requirement of Outlier is that the student must be 13 or over. |
