RE: Graduate program for ITT tech graduate - bjcheung77 - 09-19-2023 @Cfun2222, You can.. It doesn't have to be Georgia Tech, there are so many institutions out there that are public/state or private/non-profit... In a new thread... You need to provide more details from the addendum/template here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works RE: Graduate program for ITT tech graduate - rachel83az - 09-20-2023 (09-19-2023, 05:18 PM)Cfun2222 Wrote: I applied to Georgia Tech and they declined ITT saying it was the following below. a) Is not accredited b) Is nationally accredited c) Is not recognized by the proper authority in that country as a degree granting institution. I am kind of bummed out. I wanted to get something to be proud of when people ask. I am successful no doubt, but never like to say ITT. If you want a degree to be proud of, you could try WGU. Or, if your heart is set on GT, get a new Comp Sci Bachelor's from TESU/WGU and then go to GT. With your prior experience, you could probably speed through such a degree in almost no time. RE: Graduate program for ITT tech graduate - bjcheung77 - 09-20-2023 @@Cfun2222, at the time being, without much details, it's going to be hard to know what your 'prior' learning has provided you... Work on the trifecta, certs, degree, experience. Maybe update that knowledge to the UMPI PM & IS or BAS by using the Coursera Plus/TADA offerings: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Coursera-Plus-for-1-month-Expires-Sept-21-2023 |
