and make sure they see this part:
Students and admissions representatives please note: NCCRS does not provide transcripts. Transcript requests and inquiries should be directed to the organization offering the courses, examinations or apprenticeship. See the Source of Official Student Records in the sidebar near the top right side of this page.

OOps, I read that as " what is a credly transcript.  I Had credly sent because it had all sophia and study ( except NCCRS- Comm 120 ) on it. Then I requested the transcript from Study. They got it, but are now asking for more for Comm120...it didn't make sense to me.

Did you ask them if they received the transcript from Study.com? Let them now the NCCRS course is on that transcript.
 Yes, that's what's so weird. The email says they received the study.com transcript, thanked me and then requested an NCCRS transcript from the sponsoring institution. I googled around a bit and did some searching on study.com and can't find anything about that. The class shows on my study.com transcript and says it's approved for NCCRS credit, right on the transcript. I wrote them back and said that study IS the sponsoring institution and that NCCRS does not issue transcripts, the institution does. I asked for more clarity ....

So you sent an NCCRS transcript via Excelsior type? That is the transcript you would have to pay for.

    Thank you. I honestly had one of those links ready to send to them but felt like I was being a tad brazen by doing so......you know, showing them what they should maybe already know.....I decided to have a little bit more conversation with them so tomorrow, if they reply to my email, I'll send them those links. I'm sure they've gotten that class before on someone's stuff since they're pretty popular...

Oh no, I'm sorry, I focused in on the "study transcript." I did not choose to do the NCCRS via Excelsior . Is that what they're asking me for you think ?

Thanks, that's helpful. It could take weeks if I have to snail mail with a payment but it might be the answer to my question. I will find out tomorrow and update here so future students know.

I had the same exact issue with Pierpont when I was getting my AAS. I eventually dropped it because I didn't really NEED the extra 3 credits. It's frustrating that they're still doing this.

I don't think it's worth doing this, I would take a different ACE course and send it on through. Trying to get this onto an EC transcript and then getting that to Pierpont could take a while.
