Seems like there's a competition out there on social media today about how many schools one can get accepted into. I've seen different posts about different kids the last few years who apply like this. It's not a challenge though. Most of those dumb things were done by adults not high school students. Well, with that much in scholarship cash... she can "Take that to the bank!". I wonder what other colleges she applied to, I assume mostly local, public, research or state colleges, maybe even a few private and even for-profit ones... I'm guessing that she does not have "scholarship cash" of $1.3M, but rather money that each school will give her to go to their school; you can't take it somewhere else. If you divide $1.3M by 50 schools, it averages out to $26k per school. So probably not even enough to get out of school debt-free. Hopefully she finds a school that gives her a free ride including room and board. |
