Depends where you are. This is a well known school in their area. That may have career benefits for some. 

I'm in grad certificate program now to get into the grad school I want and the program I want. It's far from cheap - the school I want to get into, but in my industry they are well known for the solid education their graduates have. There's also the networking with being an alumni from this school. Sometimes you just need to suck it up and pay for a degree especially a graduate degree. There's folks on here attending Duke and that's not inexpensive.

For the price, I wonder if it would be better to go for an EDx micro-masters and apply for a Masters at MIT instead of SIT. Here's the wiki for the micromasters, there are so many options to choose from and schools as well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MicroMasters
