Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - jch - 01-27-2021 It does unfortunately look like they'll make you go through a high-touch admissions process. Not just sign up and take whatever you want like ASU EA. That doesn't necessarily make it a bad option, but it may be a hassle for just a few drive by credits. RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - monchevy - 01-27-2021 The application form for this is the same as for the bachelor's program. You have to specify the bachelor's program you intend to take... does this mean you have to transfer these credits to one of their programs? At $1,500/credit PT, that's a heavy lift. They also require transcripts to enroll. RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - Cofffeee - 01-27-2021 I guess all of these can be use as RA electives at least. Lol uploaded 1 page later. RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - ctcarl - 01-27-2021 Anyone know the content delivery system? Are we looking at edX? I forget offhand, but it's in the FAQ. It's to get a few credits for a great price, and then transfer them out to another school (esp the Big 3, and COSC/TESU in particular with the RA credits requirement). Yes, which is why the title of this post includes the words "more cheap RA credits." RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - dfrecore - 01-27-2021 UPDATE: you can choose not to send your transcripts, and just upload your unofficial transcript and they'll use that instead. My friend was able to enroll her daughter within 14 hours of applying, and is now submitting the syllabus to her college to make sure they will accept it prior to taking the course. RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - Cofffeee - 01-27-2021 I am just wondering. If u apply to the program does it mean u r considered enrolled to university? How does impact ur status for other universities? For example will u be prohibited to enroll to TESU while u r taking their YourWay courses? Or other way around will i have issues to enrolling and taking their courses if u r enrolled at TESU? I think you'll be enrolled as a non-degree student. I have applied to their YourWay this morning. I've been waiting for 7 hours now. I hope they will send me an acceptance letter soon! RE: Olivet Nazarene YourWay (more cheap RA credits) - rachel83az - 01-27-2021 Well, I applied and uploaded my unofficial transcripts. Are they supposed to send you a welcome/confirmation email immediately or do they only send it after you've been accepted to enroll? |
