Certificate holders can join the alumni affiliate membership. But Please note: Affiliate membership does not provide access to some regional events, most alumni clubs, the alumni directory, the alumni job board or @alumni.stanford.edu email addresses. https://alumni.stanford.edu/get/page/membership/affiliate RE: Stanford Medical Statistics Certificate - ekbenzo - 07-20-2020 Emailed them and confirmed you don't get alumni status unfortunately. Thank you for reaching out. Alumni status for Stanford University is granted to those who were matriculated students and have graduated from a degree program. As the Stanford Medical Statistics Certificate Program is considered professional education, the coursework is classified as nonacademic and will not qualify participants for alumni status. However, there are different types of memberships that are offered. There is one for Alumni and another listed as an Affiliate Membership which is similar to an Alumni membership, with the exception of certain benefits the University reserves for Alumni. RE: Stanford Medical Statistics Certificate - ml2011 - 12-04-2020 Hi I'm a medical doctor who will be commencing a PhD soon. I'm just looking for a course which would allow me to do my own stats (Propensity score matching, Meta analyses, etc). Does anyone know if this course is good for any of that? |
