Looks like it would be challenging, but self-paced: Thanks! I looked into that but you need methods of proof and so I don't think I'm going to take it. And then you pay a fee to sent transcript to TESU I believe. I've heard good things about coopersmith. It is $150 total for each 3 credit course. If you do both 3 credit courses that be $300 for 6 credits. So if you did the math that is $50/credit RE: Colleges that will allow taking just one course - withrown - 05-07-2020 See if a school has a policy for visiting students. I took a few courses at a local brick and mortar and had COSC fill out a visiting/transient student form and it was fine. No forum posts or lengthy homework to worry about. Just study and take the exams. Definitely the least expensive option too. RE: Colleges that will allow taking just one course - CassandraNolin - 05-07-2020 thanks for this guys, really appreciated RE: Colleges that will allow taking just one course - Giantzebra - 05-07-2020 (05-07-2020, 04:09 PM)Zed Wrote:(05-07-2020, 03:40 PM)natshar Wrote: Also if you haven't already try coopersmith they are only $150 and self-paced. Also, numerous people on this forum have used Linear Algebra at UL for computer science degrees. That being said, TESU does change things sometimes. I would simply shoot advising an e-mail telling them you want to take those courses and get it pre-approved before you spend any money and buy the courses. I am trying to find an 4 credit upper level math course I can take online and then transfer in to TESU. I don't mind paying regular price for the class - it will save me from having to take two. Does anyone know any college that may offer such a thing? It sounds as if you're asking if there are schools that will admit non-degree seeking students. If that's the case, then the answer to that question is yes; however, those that do usually limit the total number of credits you can earn while in non-degree seeking status. In your specific case, APUS allows non-degree seeking students and they offer all of the LL/UL math courses to complete a Bachelor's in Mathematics (they have a BS in Mathematics degree themselves). Current cost is $285 per credit hour + a $65 per course technology fee. RE: Colleges that will allow taking just one course - Giantzebra - 05-07-2020 Thank you everyone! I really feel like I have some really good things to work with over here - I sincerely appreciate all the help! |
