Yes, I also recommend Competency Based Masters degrees degrees as those allow you use knowledge/learning experience to pace yourself. If you're looking at an MPA at the Big 3, Excelsior college allows up to 27 credits transferred into their MPA program. Their program used to be 33 credits and allowed 30 credits transferred. I wonder which course they removed from that list.... anyways, good luck!

I'm interested in getting another Master's degree, but it's just for personal growth. I love to learn. I feel stagnant when I am not working toward some kind of educational or professional goal. My family thinks I'm crazy.

However, I've spent my fair share on education, despite getting some financial help along the way, and I would like to see how far I can get with a DIY degree. I'm interested in getting a Master's in Emergency Management or an MPA. These do not seem to be as easy to DIY as business, computer science, etc.

Currently, I hold the following degrees:

M.Ed. Instructional Design & Technology, American College of Education
Graduate Certificate: English, American College of Education
B.S. Public Administration, Northern Arizona University
A.A.S. Emergency Response and Operations

Hey there! Fellow ACE alumni! And my family thinks I'm crazy too, but I'm the same way! Always need to be working towards something.. Glad to have "met" a kindred spirit.

it depends on the degree you want but I'm pretty sure there are degrees that you can do in their entirety on Study.com, not counting the capstone
