Passed A & I Lit - 1-more - 03-05-2008

knucyt Wrote:I am struggling with deciding whether to go for A&I Lit exam tomorrow, or to keep trying to study longer...and have to pospone for another week or longer (work schedule).

I have taken two REA tests so far and scored 61% (scaled 60) on the first REA test, did worse on the second with a 56% raw(scaled 55).
Tried 1 Peterson and got a raw 56%.

I keep running out of time and feel like I am winging it much more than usual. First REA test I was more relaxed and only missed 5 questions, second test I really wanted to answer them all and did worse..had 12 questions unanswered with less than 2 mins left.

I do not seem to be improving!

My usually modus operandi is to go take a CLEP when I am scoring 75-85% on REA and Peterson's tests. I tent to score just a little bit higher on the actual test but have never felt as rushed as I do on this A&I Lit CLEP.

I would greatly appreciate some feedback on this dilemma!

Thanks!

A&I Lit is easy for some; not for me. Not long ago I failed this test with a score of 49. It's doable but the killer is not having enough time. I spend the last two or three minutes of the test just answering questions without actually reading them. I am not discouraging anybody though. If English is the first language and if there is no previous testing on the same day, things should be fine.

For those of you who took the essays can you provide some feedback as to what kind of questions were asked?
