I have a ton of all three and I am still using them 16-years later. Many people do. I personally didn't even need IC for the courses I already thought I could pass, but for those where you're on the edge, I think it would work. For those where you're learning from scratch, then I think it would be hard. It's also hard to get an estimate of how well you're doing using IC only, which is why a lot of people use practice tests to judge that. My local library has all of the CLEP tests online for free, and some DSST's. There are books as well (REA, Peterson's, etc.). I think a BA in 1 year is easily doable if you want to do it The is amazing! Did you start from scratch? The utility of IC flashcards vary by subject. The thread for each subject has alot of useful information, including a few study guides for each course. It helps to get feedback from people who have taken the tests as well. REA guides are usually pretty good, but, again, it varies from subject to subject. RE: Bachelor degree in 1 year - rowan555 - 05-29-2018 My 18 year old son earned his BSBA in about a year following the path in my signature - he got his degree at WGU for under $3200 total. Do you happen to have the full breakdown of your sons WGU degree plan? I was looking to go to WGU and I have heard of some people completing their degree at WGU in 6 months. I was looking for a breakdown from someone who has went to this school. Thank you so much, Mike RE: Bachelor degree in 1 year - rowan555 - 05-30-2018 I don't know how helpful it would be because he only took, I believe, 11 courses at WGU. He finished in 4 months and change. I can see if he still has it somewhere if you want it. Here is his transcript evaluation for HR Management - as I said, he completed in one term. Good for him BTW! Congrats. |
