Using my major as a guide I actually googled "English capstone topic ideas". You can also substitute "_____ research paper ideas" or "_____ thesis ideas". I wasn't looking for already completed papers, but more suggestions for topics and that got the juices flowing. I began making a list. I'm a few months away from my capstone but I already have a list of 30 ideas or more that I can sift through. You might give it a try!

I'm currently doing my bsba capstone with tesu. I can tell you I was very afraid going in. Like terrified because it has been a long time since I've written a long paper like that.. especially having to write an essay almost every week and a finals paper.
The first one was rough but after that it only gotten easier. I ended up writing close to 15 pages a week and it prepared me for the finals

What guidance do you get on selecting a topic? Is the topic anything you want or are there specific guidelines for the topic of choice?
