RE: What discount does the TESU Study.com partnership bring? - fingerscrossedx2 - 01-25-2018 I am trying to figure out how to sign up for the study.com discount. I am also having a heck of a time registering for the capstone via TESU. I am used to simply applying for admission and picking classes. It does not seem that taking ONE class at TESU is that simple. What am I missing? I spoke with an advisor today that explained I will need to pay $2500 for the out of state fees. I would love to have that discounted in ANY way possible. What am I missing? I'm confused, signing up for the Capstone is that easy. You apply and once you're accepted, then you can register for the course. The easiest way to get the study.com discount is to check that box on the application, otherwise call in and request it be added. The advisor expressed himself badly. That $2500 is the residency waiver and it's the same for in state and out. It's discounted to $1800 by the study.com discount. Your Capstone should be discounted to $1098 from $1497. What am I missing? I found the code at TESU and sent an email to study.com regarding converting my existing account to a partnered account. As my name says, FINGERS CROSSED! I signed up for the Study.com-TESU membership; but I definitely will not be able to finish any degree by June 3th. You don't have to graduate by the 30th, but you have to register for the capstone (either July or August term) and pay the Residency Waiver by that date. So, using the spreadsheet I just posted to the other thread, you could start on your courses, register by June 30th for the August term, and continue taking Study.com courses until the term starts. If you were smart and took overlapping courses, I'd bet you'd be done by then with everything. Not even kidding. |
