The OP is active-duty military, so not only does he/she get to take CLEP and DSST exams for free, but he/she also gets a special military deal at TESU, where TECEP's count for residency. Up until last year, regular people could also use TECEP's for residency (I am under the 2015 catalog, and I fulfilled my residency via TECEP's). But that went away under the 2016 catalog. RE: New member in search of help - bjcheung77 - 01-07-2018 Pelican, there is no loophole. That is only for service people. Each school is different and COSC/Excelsior have similar pricing. TESU Link: https://www.tesu.edu/military/Tuition-Fees.cfm Application: $75 Graduation: $332 Capstone: $750 Residency Credits by TECEP: 21 X $39 - $819 Total: $1976 I thought I updated the pricing for TESU but only did partially for civilians and forgot the "service people" such as military/navy etc. It depends on where you want to "take all your courses" as I did a calculation for service people, it's cheaper at COSC, but I would still recommend TESU over them for ease of finding course equivalencies. I updated COSC/Excelsior properly though with two pricing structures showing in the Beginners Guide sticky. For some reason, I have COSC at $1215 so that's significantly cheaper than civilians, Excelsior is at $2500.
