New here, please help? - Collegelady2 - 05-17-2017 I called today to get my id it took 3 days New here, please help? - Ideas - 05-17-2017 badfish Wrote:Oh, ok. Perhaps I misread the instructions. It appeared that you could register without an ID until they sent one. If you did, it might be a hassle because they would probably charge the non-enrolled price. Is there a way to check the number of openings for enrollment on that? Essentially, in my opinion, from looking at your courses, you might be better off taking the BSIT at WGU. I would just apply to them as well as there's a FREE application fee waiver until the end of this month. Send them your transcripts and see if they will accept most if not all the courses you have below. Thanks, I'll look into WGU as well. Can you explain a little more of what you mean when you say "use up 27 FREE electives +20 GEN ED electives"? I'm still figuring this stuff out. TESU can take 5 business days or more. It's safer to call them. New here, please help? - badfish - 05-17-2017 Ideas Wrote:They may add 50 more once they run out, but you can't count on it. Hi, You may want to read the Beginners Guide "sticky thread" and the Wiki pages for more details. Wiki: Degree Forum Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia Beginners Guide on wiki: The Basic Approach | Degree Forum Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia Please see here: Liberal Arts Degree Requirements: BA in Liberal Studies Degree at Thomas Edison State University If you look at the General Education Electives and the Free Electives, that means you can take anything practically anything... It will allow you to dump all your credits you have (IT credits you currently have as long as they take it) into those slots... The only draw back is, the capstone is expensive, but you don't need to "pay for other courses" for the BSBA. Create a spreedsheet or PM dfrecore to do one for you (for both), flip a coin and see which one is cheaper/easier/faster. From skimming those requirements, it's going to be a coin toss if I was you (and also a coin toss if you go with WGU in 1 term for cheap!). New here, please help? - badfish - 05-17-2017 Thank you for explaining, I believe I understand now. I'll get busy looking into all of this. ![]() |
