Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - rlw74 - 05-06-2017 I've taken 9 or 10, never had an issue except once in logging in... Nothing that affected the test results. It has taken up to two weeks to get the system to update to "passed" status and show up on ace but also has taken as little as a day. So I really wouldn't worry. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - Synicaal - 05-06-2017 they seemed to be running on the slow side the last week or so. I usually get everything turned around in a couple days or so and I have been sitting on 2 finals for almost a week now. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - Brownie82 - 05-07-2017 I just found out Microsoft has online proctored tests for some of their certifications. I downloaded PVproctor and it's super strict. I couldn't even finish the system check without complaining about other applications being open. I think a google chrome process was running, but I didn't have any windows open. Also, it was kept 'reporting' me for have unauthorized applications running. I've only been using Study.com and it's been easy so far. I forgot plug in my laptop and it died on me at the end of a test. I plugged it in quickly and kept working. It took about a week to get from pending to passed. I didn't think about emailing them. I had about 2 weeks until my next test was available, so I was going to be waiting regardless. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - a2jc4life - 05-08-2017 I was kinda panicky about the room scan, etc. with the proctoring. I even did the room scan twice, because when I've worked with ProctorU, I had to have a reflective surface on hand, so my first room scan showed a mirror, which is not a permitted item, and I took the mirror out of the room and came back and did it again. Didn't have any issues. It is rather unnerving, though, having no interaction with the proctor at all, and therefore no feedback on whether all the tech is working! Yeah, I wish they could review it before you invest the time in the exam. I also heard about someone's ID being too blurry and causing problems, so I was really worried about getting all of it really readable, which is not easy with a webcam. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - Silly_Me - 05-27-2017 This might be a dumb question... But, do you actually have to pass the final in order to move on to other courses? I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing. But, what if I fail the final? Will I forfeit the rest of my access to courses? You can retake it. Also if you haven't used all your quiz retakes, you can do that. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - bjcheung77 - 05-27-2017 Just curious, how many retakes are there for the final exam? I think the quizzes have 3 tries total... but don't recall about the finals. Study.com Personal Finance- waiting on proctor approval - Ideas - 05-27-2017 I'm not sure. Maybe only 1 retake. Also, it uses another exam credit ![]() Quizzes can be taken more than 3 times, but only the first 3 count for scoring. The highest of the first 3 tries. |
