Not sure how many Finals you have taken from Study.com but in my opinion this is the breakdown on there finals

50% - Easy Questions
35% - Medium Questions
15% - Difficult Questions

Yeah I've noticed that I usually do about 15 points better on the actual test than the practice test. I have taken 7 and passed all but one. When I took Macroeconomics I actually got 74% on the practice test but somehow failed the final! That's the only reason I'm a little weary of trusting the practice tests. Maybe that was just a fluke though.
Thanks for that breakdown it's really helpful! I think I'll be fine so I'm going to take the test today. I'll let you all know how I do. Thanks for all the feedback!

Oh thanks for the info! I failed to mention that I'm actually taking INTRO to Managerial Accounting ACC-102 on Study.com not the upper level Managerial accounting. I didn't realize their were two!

Managerial Accounting - Kgaul - 01-27-2017

My AOS is accounting so I'm them all. I just don't want anyone to take a tough accounting class only for it to not transfer
I actually took 101 at Study.com and 102 at StraighterLine. The study.com was much easier to understand, especially if your want the info to "stick"

So I passed with a 74 on the final. I think I also got the full points on the quizzes so I passed easily, I shouldn't have been so worried. There were a bunch of questions on statements/reports such as balance sheets, income statements, contribution margin, master budget, etc. (on my test at least) Basically if it says statement, or budget, pay attention.

The math questions were not too difficult at all. I made the stupid mistake of buying a calculator at the dollar store right before my test and not trying it out first. During my test I realized the calculator was completely broken so I had to do without. But luckily there were only about two math questions that I was unsure on. The rest I was able to figure out easily with my scratch paper and I'm really bad at math!

By the way this review is on INTRO to Managerial Accounting - ACC-102 on Study.com. NOT the upper level Managerial Accounting on study.com. I'm not sure which one this thread was originally about .

I'm about to take this final on Friday. Can I ask what you studied exactly?

Managerial Accounting - azt579 - 02-08-2017

It was a bit harder for me to retain the info in this course than in the Financial Accounting and Advanced Accounting courses, probably because of the lack of videos. I'm kinda nervous about this final tbh.

I'm trying to decide how much longer to spend studying for this one. I'm usually not nervous about tests but for some reason I am with this one.
I'm having a hard time memorizing all of the formulas because there are so many and I keep getting them mixed up!
Does anyone have feedback on the difficulty?

This was an exam I had been putting off, because I was concerned at how hard it would be. I was worried I would do poorly in it. If I recall correctly, I got 89% on the final exam. Don't sweat it. Just go over the material a couple times and you will be totally fine

Just took the study.com exam and got a 93! Big Grin It was definitely easier than what I anticipated. I shouldn't have worried so much.
