Not sure where you are planning to transfer these, but you might be interested in the free 2cr Institutes ethics course and the two free 1cr NFA fire safety courses Free Sources of Credit | Degree Forum Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia

Thanks. I will check those out once official transcripts are evaluated.

Hi All. Here is my unofficial assessment from TESU (they only do 1 so no CIS/Cyber comparison). The only thing they could not see is the 6 Electives (all Computer Art, Hands on Art and 1 Art History). By Tuesday evening I should have the unofficial from Excelsior.

You can run a what-if scenario yourself through TESU. Just choose to look at your degree, then choose to change it to something else, and you will get a new eval. It's very easy.

I don't like this new layout they do, it's easier to read, but impossible (for me) to figure out what they're giving credit for. Confusing.

Agreed. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Excelsior has to say

Just realized the list of classes taken had duplicates - that's not even close to what I have completed. I'm wondering - should I just have all official transcripts sent to the top three? It'll cost a bundle but ensure all programs are open to me. I just want to make sure they don't lock me into something and start charging residency fees until I officially decide on a program. Can my transcripts sit with them for a year while I take tests?

I think an unofficial eval is a complete waste of time, you need an official eval from each school.

None of them will start charging fees until you enroll. BUT, they won't keep your transcripts on file for more than a couple of months if you get an eval but then don't do anything with them.

EC and COSC will start charging fees immediately upon enrollment, TESU will not.

Huh? TESU kept mine for 4 months before I enrolled. You have a year before you have pay another application fee if you don't enroll, and I'm pretty sure they aren't going to throw your eval away before that...I actually doubt they are going to throw it away right after that.

Ok, 2 months, 4 months, whatever. Basically, if you don't enroll at some point in time (probably way less than a year), they won't keep your transcripts and eval on hand. Plus, it won't be useful once they make a change to the plan (assuming they do). An eval is only good until a new catalog year starts, and until any changes are made. That is going to be less than a year for sure - considering that the new catalog is July 1, but the changes are usually now made April 1.

TESU admission said the following, "When you apply you pay the $75 app fee. Your app is good for one year and if you don’t take a course within that year you just re-apply. You can clep and dsst some courses and transfer the score into TESU when you are ready to attend. That way you’re not wasting any money".
