Are these and still acceptable by TESU before the End of Nov 2016. 2. ALEKS College Algebra with Trigonometry is same as ALEKS College Algebra?? or only one can be accepted for credits? Advice for ALEKS for GE Electives - ndelco - 11-18-2016 sekiflying Wrote:1. Are these and still acceptable by TESU before the End of Nov 2016. 1. Yes, as of this point you have until the end of November until the ACE approval runs out on these courses. ALEKS may or may not get these courses approved again. Nobody knows as of right now. As long as the courses are on your ACE transcript by the 30th, you are good to go. 2. You got it. Either/or for those two courses. You can only use 12 credits at TESU for ALEKS courses. Intermediate, College OR College w/ Trig, Precalculus OR Trig, one of the Stats courses since they all duplicate. You can add Beginning Algebra at COSC but not TESU. Advice for ALEKS for GE Electives - sekiflying - 11-18-2016 Thank you for your clarification, ndelcollo TESU Academic Evaluation Page Html Bug? - alzee - 11-18-2016 It's been messed up ever since their "new academic evaluation" rollout. I opened a ticket and was a little snippy, but they told me they were going to "fix things" and there were some thing they "could not test before going live." In other words, their devs/admins are either lazy or incompetent. If they fix it, it'll be another 3+ months, my bet. ![]() TESU Academic Evaluation Page Html Bug? - sekiflying - 11-18-2016 Thank you for your reply, I was so afraid taht I am the only one having the isssue. Credit transfer necessary via ACE?? - sekiflying - 11-20-2016 Is it necessay to have ACE for transfer Credits to TESU? (Saving cost purpose) Aleks Saylor Straight Line Clep/ DSST UExcel CBE Credit transfer necessary via ACE?? - jsd - 11-20-2016 The first three would all go on an ACE transcript. But since Straighterline is a partner with TESU, I think that means you can send your scores directly to TESU and skip ACE. It used to be that way at least, not sure if it still is. Saylor and ALEKS don't offer this (with the exception of some Saylor courses being NCCRS approved) CLEP or DSST can be sent directly to the school UExcel would be sent on a Excelsior transcript. CBE means "credit by exam" and there are tons of options for CBE (for example, CLEP, DSST, UExcel, TECEPs are all CBEs), so you'd need to be more specific. |
