I suppose. But that's one of the easiest areas to fulfill, why would you do that when there are courses you've taken that would fulfill areas that have limited selection for courses? For example, for the Diversity area, there are only about 8 courses that are inexpensive (test-out-able) that could be used, and you have taken one (Sociology).
You should always use your courses in the hardest areas to fulfill first; GE Electives and especially Free Electives should be done LAST, when a course won't fit anywhere else or all other areas are fulfilled.
