How to graduate with a 4.0 GPA - cookderosa - 06-28-2016 Yorkd2 Wrote:I am working toward a doctorate in physical therapy. To be considered for grad school GPA must be 3.0 or higher. I will have to take 6 science classes at a B&M school as they won't allow "testing out" for the core science courses. Yes, that's typical for all of the health occupations. You can *probably* test out of your non-science gen eds like history, psychology, etc. You'll want your science grades to be exceptional. Those grades, no matter where you end up earning your BA from, will follow you. They won't appear on the transcript as a grade when you transfer, but they still exist. (which works the other way too- people often think they can bury a bad grade by transferring; the credit comes but not the GPA, however this only works if you don't go to grad school ) |
